2024 Pac-12 Women’s Basketball Tournament, presented by Acura,returns to Las Vegas and MGM Grand Garden Arena  

LAS VEGAS – The 2024 Pac-12 Women’s Basketball Tournament, presented by Acura, is back in Las Vegas this week as all 12 teams from across the Conference are set to compete for the Pac-12 title and a chance to punch their ticket to the “Big Dance.”

The Pac-12 Tournament will take place from March 6-10 and returns to the MGM Grand Garden Arena for the first time since 2019, with fans able to enjoy a wide array of entertainment options, giveaways, and Pac-12 activations throughout the week’s festivities. 

All games ahead of the championship game will air on Pac-12 Network and Pac-12.com. The Championship game will air on ESPN at 2 p.m. PT / 3 p.m. MT on Sunday, March 10. 

The strength of Pac-12 women’s basketball has been on display all season long, with a quintet of teams appearing on the NCAA’s most recent top 16 reveal (Feb. 29): No. 3 Stanford (1-seed), No. 4 UCLA (1-seed), No. 8 USC (2-seed), No. 12 Oregon State (3-seed), and No. 13 Colorado (4-seed). Eight Pac-12 programs have multiple wins against AP-ranked opponents, including a national-best seven for UCLA.

2024 #Pac12WBB Activation Information

  • Mascot Madness – The Pac-12 has partnered with MGM Resorts International on an event to bring all 12 mascots to the MGM Grand Main Lobby at approximately 10:30 p.m. PT on Wednesday, March 6 (following Game 4 of the tournament between Utah and Arizona State). This event is open to fans and media members.
  • Pep Rallies – Pep rallies featuring university bands and spirit squads will take place prior to each session at Blizz Frozen Yogurt inside MGM Grand.
  • Pac-12 Merchandise – Fans will be able to purchase merchandise for their favorite teams on the concourse of the arena throughout the week. 
  • Prizes / Giveaways – Throughout the tournament, select fans will have the chance to compete in contests to win additional prizes, including gift cards and tickets to The Sphere Experience, Carrie Underwood, and Blue Man Group.

2024 #Pac12WBB Entertainment Information (subject to change)

  • Halftime Entertainment  – The tournament will feature an action-packed slate of halftime entertainment, including the following acts and recognitions:
    • America’s Got Talent Presents SUPERSTARS Live – Pack Drumline, AGT Season 17 semi-finalist drum and percussion group as well as one of the newest artists in “America’s Got Talent Presents SUPERSTARS Live” at Luxor Hotel and Casino, will perform the halftime show during the first quarterfinal session on Thursday, March 7.
    • Shows from the Rio – Halftime performances throughout the tournament will feature performing acts from the Rio in Las Vegas, including Icarian from the show, “WOW”. 
    • Absinthe’s Tap Dancing Twins – Twin Brothers Sean and John Scott from the show “Absinthe” will wow fans with their tap dancing performance on Wednesday, March 6. 
    • Culture Shock – Culture Shock, a non-profit dance company dedicated to innovative performance, artist development, and community enrichment, will perform at halftime during the second quarterfinal session and include members and allies of the LGBTQIA+ community.
    • Saraphina Violin – World-class violinist Saraphina Davidson-Gurney will wow audiences with her string performance on Thursday during the second quarterfinal session (March 7).
    • Ohiole Dibua – International street-twirling performer Ohiole Dibua brings his act to the Pac-12 Women’s Basketball Tournament with a halftime show on Monday during the first round of action.
    • Mascot Madness – All 12 mascots will compete in a 6-on-6 basketball game at halftime during the second session of games on Wednesday, March 6.
  • National Anthem Performances – Pac-12 fans will enjoy a collection of national anthem performances throughout tournament, including the following:
    • KÀ by Cirque du Soleil – The national anthem ahead of the championship game on Sunday, March 10 will be performed by members of the headline act, KÁ by Cirque du Soleil, who perform at MGM Grand.
      • Experience the unimaginable with Cirque du Soleil’s KÀ, an epic story of love and conflict presented in constantly changing theatrical environments that bring an entire empire to life on stage. The divided twins, the acrobatic protagonists of this daring quest, face peril at every turn in KÀ’s plot as they are relentlessly pursued by spearmen and archers during their adventures.
    • Lorena Peril of FANTASY – Headlining Las Vegas singer from FANTASY at Luxor Lorena Peril will sing the national anthem ahead of Friday’s first semifinal matchup.
    • University Bands – National anthem performances from university bands will take place throughout the duration of the tournament for fans to enjoy.
  • Pac-12 After Dark Dance Party – During the final game of each of the four game sessions, fans will be able to participate in a Pac-12 After Dark Dance Party, featuring music, DJ performances, glow sticks, and more.
  • Trophy Presentation – Following the championship game on Sunday, March 10, the 2024 Pac-12 Women’s Basketball Tournament Championship trophy, as well as the Pac-12 Women’s Basketball Tournament Most Outstanding Player and All-Tournament Team, will be presented on the court.

Pac-12 imPACt

  • Sprouts – At both the Pac-12 Women’s & Men’s Basketball Tournaments, official Pac-12 partner Sprouts Farmers Markets will run an on-court promotion in which bands of both competing institutions will compete to fill care kits of snacks, to be donated to a local food back in Las Vegas. Sprouts is set to donate all food items to be assembled in the kits.
  • Nevada Reading Week – On Friday, March 8, the four mascots of the semifinalist teams will visit Ruby Thomas Elementary School as part of Nevada’s Reading Week.
