CORVALLIS – Oregon State has joined many others eliminating physical tickets by launching a new app simply named OSU Beavers Mobile as universities scramble to mitigate Delta variant dangers in an effort to make gameday safer for fans.
OSU Beavers Mobile, available now for free in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, allows fans to manage all their gameday ticket needs, including purchase and entry. Fans can also use the app to transfer tickets to friends and for access to gameday parking.
Oregon announced the elimination of physical tickets earlier this year.
“This is a major step forward for our fans, towards a better game day experience,” Vice President and Director of Athletics Scott Barnes said. “At Oregon State, we waited to launch an app until we were sure we could get it right. Tickets and parking access from your phone means less to worry about and more to celebrate on Beaver Football game days.”
With the update, Oregon State will progress to touchless entry at all venues. Utilizing mobile ticketing reduces physical touchpoints and will speed entry to Reser Stadium, Gill Coliseum, Goss Stadium, Kelly Field and the OSU Soccer Complex.
