Four Ducks take on ITA Northwest Super Regional

SEATTLE – Four members of the men’s tennis team will compete in the ITA Northwest Super Regional this weekend, hosted by Washington Oct. 22-25. The singles and doubles finalists will qualify for the ITA National Fall Championships taking place Nov. 4-7.

Jesper Klöv-Nilsson, Joshua Charlton, Luke Vandecasteele and Quinn Vandecasteele will represent the Ducks in singles play, with matches set to begin at 9 a.m. PT on Friday.

Oregon doubles team Charlton and Quinn Vandecasteele are the No. 1 ranked pair in the doubles main draw bracket and face Portland’s Hibi and Yoshida at 6:00 p.m. PT on Friday. Charlton is a two-time defending regional doubles champion with former teammates Thomas Laurent (2018) and Ty Gentry (2019).

The Super Regionals is comprised of players that automatically qualified based on their region rankings, as well as players that reached the quarterfinals of the ITA Fall Northwest Regionals last week at the Student Tennis Center.
