PORTLAND, Ore. (Nov. 13, 2023) – The Rip City Remix have claimed forward/center Alex Reese, it was announced today by General Manager Danny Connors. Reese spent the 2023 G League training camp with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers after making the team through an open tryout.
In 27 games (all starts) for Amicale Steinsel of the Luxembourg Basketball League last season, Reese averaged 23.7 points (49.5% FG, 43.5% 3-PT, 82.4% FT), 12.9 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.5 blocks in 33.1 minutes per game. A four-year player at Alabama from 2017-21, Reese appeared in 124 games (36 starts) with the Crimson Tide, where he recorded 6.1 points and 3.3 rebounds in 15.7 minutes per game. In his senior season, he posted a career-high 8.8 points and 4.8 rebounds in 31 games (26 starts).
