LOS ANGELES — The final round of the Therese Hession Regional Challenge was canceled on Monday due to inclement weather in the Los Angeles area.
The No. 7 ranked Oregon women’s golf team finished its first tournament of the spring with a 2-1 record, securing a pair of top-25 wins over No. 25 Mississippi State and No. 19 San Jose State. The Ducks’ lone loss was a tight 3-2 decision to No. 6 South Carolina, which finished as the tournament winner.
Freshman Ting-Hsuan (Tiffany) Huang went 3-0 to lead the Ducks, while Ching-Tzu Chen, Minori Nagano and Kiara Romero all went 2-1.
The Ducks will return to action next week at the San Diego State Classic (Feb. 12-13).
