CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State senior Jackson Lake has been named the Pac-12 Conference’s Men’s Golfer of the Week, it was announced on Tuesday.
Lake earned the honor after taking the individual championship at the Seattle Redhawk Invitational last week. He shot an 11-under 202 to lead Oregon State to the team title as well.
Lake, who hails from Clovis, Calif., shot under par in each of his three rounds at the event. He opened with a 6-under 65 and followed that up with rounds of 68 (3-under) and 69 (2-under). He made 16 birdies and one eagle.
The win marked his third top-10 finish this year, and ninth of his collegiate career. He’s posted nine rounds under par this year and 38 for his career. The 11-under, meanwhile, was his best career three-round tally.
