CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State volleyball team’s inaugural West Coast Conference schedule is set, as it was released Thursday morning by the league.
Head coach Lindsey Behonick’s team is slated for 18 games, split evenly between home and away and will eight of the league’s 10 opponents home and away. Oregon State is no stranger to any WCC opponent, having played each of them at least four times.
The Beavers will open league play with a home battle with Pepperdine (Sept. 26) before heading north to Portland (Sept. 28) then venturing south to meet San Diego (Oct. 5). Returning to Gill Coliseum, the Beavers will welcome Santa Clara (Oct. 10) and San Francisco (Oct. 12) before away contests in Washington against Washington State (Oct. 17) and Gonzaga (Oct. 19).
Behonick’s squad will return home for three consecutive matches in a weeks’ time when OSU will host Saint Mary’s (Oct. 24), LMU (Oct. 26) and Gonzaga (Oct. 31) to close out October. November kicks off with three consecutive in California with Santa Clara (Nov. 7), San Francisco (Nov. 9) and Pacific (Nov. 14) before finishing the home slate with San Diego (Nov. 16), Portland (Nov. 21) and Washington State (Nov. 22). The season wraps with a pair in southern California against LMU (Nov. 27) and three days later at Pepperdine.
