EUGENE, Ore. – The Oregon soccer program will be the Ducks’ first sport to compete under the Big Ten banner when it opens the 2024 season by hosting Seattle on Aug. 15 at Papé Field.
Following the game with Seattle, Oregon will host Portland State on Aug. 18.
The Ducks then hit the road for matches at New Mexico State (Aug. 22) and New Mexico (Aug. 25), before returning home to face Cal State Northridge on Sept. 1.
Oregon’s last nonconference road game is Sept. 5 at Texas Tech, while the final nonconference home match is Sept. 8 versus Sacramento State.
The Ducks open Big Ten Conference play by hosting UCLA on Sept. 14.
Oregon then ventures across the country to play at Rutgers (Sept. 19) and Maryland (Sept. 22).
The Ducks will play four of the next five matches at Papé Field. Oregon hosts Indiana (Sept. 26) and Purdue (Sept. 29) before a trip to USC on Oct. 5. The team then returns to Eugene for its final home games of the season against Michigan State (Oct. 10) and Michigan (Oct. 13).
The Ducks close out the regular season with road contests at Nebraska (Oct. 17), Iowa (Oct. 20) and Washington (Oct. 27).
The first and second rounds of the Big Ten Tournament will be played the weekend of Oct. 30, while the semifinals are on Nov. 7 and the championship match is on Nov. 10.
Prior to the regular season opener, the Ducks will play exhibition matches at Oregon State (Aug. 4) and Idaho (Aug. 9).
The Ducks will face nine teams that advanced to the 2023 NCAA Tournament. Nebraska was a regional finalist, while Texas Tech and Michigan State advanced to the round of 16. Other teams on the schedule that played in the 2023 Tournament were UCLA, Rutgers, Indiana, USC, Michigan and Iowa.
Game times and broadcast information for all the home games and Big Ten road games will be announced at a later date.
