Davies Joins the Organization After 15 Years with Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment
PORTLAND, Ore. (June 28, 2024) – The Portland Trail Blazers have hired Galen Davies as the organization’s next Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer, it was announced today by Dewayne Hankins, President of Business Operations, Portland Trail Blazers & Rose Quarter. Additionally, Laura Flynn has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Commercial Partnerships.
As Executive Vice President & Chief Revenue Officer, Davies will be responsible for leading strategic planning, ticketing, and commercial partnerships, emphasizing increasing revenue streams and diversifying customer segments. He will lead a dynamic group made up of the organization’s Ticket Sales & Service, Premium Sales & Service, and Commercial Partnership teams with a focus on strategic growth and development for individuals and the wider team. Davies joins the organization after 15 years with Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (MLSE) in Toronto, Canada driving revenue growth for teams across four professional leagues – NHL, NBA, MLS and CFL. During his time in Toronto, he built an impressive track record of success as he worked his way up the partnership ladder from account executive to eventually Head of Global Partnerships, and most recently Vice President, Brand + Commercial Strategy.

Flynn has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Commercial Partnerships after most recently serving as Interim Vice President, Commercial Partnerships and VP, Premium. The upcoming season will mark the seventh season for Flynn with the organization, having started as a Ticket Service Manager in 2017. She has established herself as a leader within the organization, leading the Premium Sales & Service for the past four years, while establishing key relationships with clients and members of the Rip City community.
Nolan Partners, an industry-leading sports and entertainment executive search firm, was retained by the Trail Blazers to lead the search for the organization’s new Chief Revenue Officer.
