CORVALLIS – The Oregon State men’s soccer team has earned its highest ever preseason ranking, coming in at No. 4 in Tuesday’s United Soccer Coaches Preseason Poll.
Oregon State is coming off its deepest NCAA Tournament run in program history, as the Beavers made the 2023 College Cup in Greg Dalby’s first season at head coach. Overall, OSU went 11-6-5 last season, going 6-1-2 over their final nine games of the year.
The Beavers’ previous best preseason ranking came in 2022, when they entered the year at No. 5. OSU was No. 4 in the 2023 postseason coaches’ poll.
Oregon State will open the regular season on Aug. 22 when UC Irvine visits Lorenz Field.
