BEAVS VS. VIKS
• Oregon State and Portland State have gone way back. So far back, the Vikings were the third opponent for the Beavers in the 1975 season, the first in program history.
• The Beavers hold a 99-39-1 advantage in the series but PSU has taken the last three, including a sweep in a doubleheader last March in Hillsboro.
BEAVS VS. GRIZ
• Montana will make their first visit to Corvallis on April 14th.
• Last month, Oregon State swept the first meetings with the Griz – a three-game set – in Missoula.
• Logan Hulon capped the sweep with an eight-strikeout, one hit outing en route to a WCC Pitcher of the Week nod.
WORKING ALL WEEK
• The meeting against the Griz is the first and only game on a Monday this season for Oregon State.
• Following this matchup, the Beavers will have played on each day of the week at least once in 2025.
THE LAST TIME OUT
• In OSU’s inaugural WCC series, LMU got the better of the Beavs after taking the first two games before rain washed away the Sunday finale. The teams are looking to make up the game at a later date this season.
• The Beavers fell to fifth-ranked Oregon in the second of three games of 2025’s Rivalry Series last Wednesday to open April.
ATOP THE WCC
• OSU is all over the top (or at least near it) in the stats for the WCC.
• The Beavers’ pitching staff has thrown a league-leading 163 Ks, led by Hulon’s 109.
• Ellie Garcia’s 53 Ks ranks fifth in the conference.
• Hulon paces the league in frames thrown with 116.1. Garcia follows in fifth with 87.2.

• Donahue is the first Beaver from Hawaii since the 2016 season.

Beaver Staff Notes
• Familiar faces will be all over the Oregon State dugout in 2025.
• Entering her 13th year, Laura Berg will lead the Oregon State softball program.
• Marcie Green will direct the pitching staff for the second season of her second stint with the program. She ended her first with the trip to the Women’s College World Series in 2022.
• Working primarily with the fielders and hitters, Matt Lisle is on Berg’s staff for the second year. Lisle joined Oregon State following experience across college softball, baseball and even MLB’s Chicago White Sox.
• Starting his journey from student manager in 2018, Dominic Garcia enters his second year as a member of the coaching staff. The Beaver alumnus worked his way up to head student manager to video coordinator in 2023 and will oversee player development, technology and data.
• Entering her fourth year with the program is Sarah Hoechlin, who serves as the Director of Operations. The OSU alumna spent two years as a student manager before a stint with the Corvallis Knights.
LOOKING AHEAD
• The Beavers will close the eight-game homestand – and nonconference matchups with the conclusion of the Rivalry Series for 2025 against Oregon.
• Following the homestand’s finale, the Beavers will pick back up WCC play with a road series at San Diego. The three-game set against the Toreros is slated for April 18-19.
