LOS ANGELES – Oregon State infielder Aiva Arquette has been named the National Player of the Week, the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) announced Tuesday.
Arquette went 9-for-18 in helping lead the Beavers to a 4-0 sweep on the week, first defeating Portland in Hillsboro then taking all three games at Cal State Fullerton.
The junior, regarded as one of the top prospects in the 2025 MLB Draft, hit four home runs over the week, driving in 11 runs while scoring seven. He added two doubles and four walks, posting a 1.277 slugging percentage and .591 on-base percentage).
Arquette opened the week with a career-high six RBI in the Beavers’ 10-6 win over Portland. He hit two home runs and collected four hits, finishing a triple short of the cycle.
Arquette then tallied five hits in the three-game series with the Titans, posting two home runs and a double with five RBI. He homered in the opener, then went deep again for a three-run shot to open OSU’s scoring in the finale.
The honor is the first of the season for Arquette, who is on the midseason watch list for the Golden Spikes Award.
