Ducks Announce First Four Noncon Opponents

EUGENE, Ore. – With the start of the 2024-25 women’s basketball season just two months away, Oregon head women’s basketball coach Kelly Graves announced the Ducks’ first four games of the season in addition to an exhibition contest, all being played at Matthew Knight Arena.

The 2024-25 women’s basketball season officially gets underway on Monday, Nov. 4, with the Ducks hosting California Baptist, who qualified for the NCAA Tournament for the first time last season. UO will also welcome Nevada (Nov. 6), Baylor (Nov. 10) and North Texas (Nov. 12) to Matthew Knight Arena over the season’s first two weeks.

Additionally, UO will also host an exhibition game against Warner Pacific on Friday, Nov. 1.

Nevada and Baylor both make return trips to Eugene after Oregon traveled to Reno and Waco, respectively, last season. The Ducks defeated the Wolfpack 76-47 while the then-13th-ranked Bears earned a 71-51 victory on their way to reaching the Sweet Sixteen in last year’s NCAA Tournament.

Additional games will be announced as they become available, as will start times and broadcast information. In May, the Big Ten Conference office revealed UO’s league opponents and locations for its inaugural season in the conference.
