Ducks Earn 13th Straight Regional Bid

EUGENE, Ore. – Oregon earned its 13th consecutive NCAA Regional bid Wednesday
as it was selected the No.7 in the Myrtle Beach Regional May 13-15 at TPC
Myrtle Beach.

The Ducks are coming off a tied for fifth place finish in the
Pac-12 Championships, which they hosted at Eugene Country Club last week.

season ranked No. 40 in the Golfstat rankings.

“We’re in NCAAs now so it starts over,” said head coach Casey Martin.
“Everything you’ve done is in the past and it’s simply how you perform
in these final two events. I love that fresh start feeling where you get to
go create it again, and being that we didn’t have a great year I think it’s
really powerful for us.”

Oregon ended the fall on an upswing, coming in second at the Paintbrush
Invitational and sixth in the Saint Mary’s Invitational before coming in
tied for fourth against an elite field at the Amer Ari Invitational to open
the spring. The Ducks finished ahead of then-No. 2 Georgia Tech and tied with
No. 6 USC in the event before topping then-No. 14 Arkansas a week later at
The Prestige, where they came in fifth.

After a runner-up finish at the Duck Invitational, Oregon placed tied
for ninth in a strong field at The Goodwin before a tied for sixth finish
at the Western Intercollegiate.
