Geniza, Gronlund Turn in Top-10 Finishes in Bandon

BANDON, Ore. – Kevin Geniza turned in his best career finish, coming in tied for third, while Ryan Gronlund finished tied for ninth to lead Oregon as it wrapped up the Bandon Dunes Championship Tuesday at the Bandon Dunes Course. Gronlund struggled out of the gates, starting double bogey, bogey at six and seven to drop to 3 over. He made two birdies and two bogeys on the back nine, making par on his final seven holes to finish with a 3-over 75.

Thomas Mulligan shot a 5-over 77 to finish tied for 62nd and Craig Ronne also shot 77, coming in tied for 68th.

Utah won the team title at 12 over while the Utes’ Blake Tomlinson took home individual medalist honors with a one-shot victory.
