EUGENE, Ore. – Oregon graduate guard Deja Kelly was named all-Big Ten honorable mention, as the Big Ten Conference office revealed its annual all-conference awards on Tuesday, as voted on by the league’s head coaches and Big Ten media. Additionally, graduate guard Peyton Scott was named the team’s Big Ten sportsmanship honoree.
On the season, Kelly averages 11.8 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game while shooting 39.0 percent from the floor. Her assist-to-turnover ratio of 2.02 ranks fifth in the Big Ten, while she is the only player in the league to average at least 11.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists with an assist-to-turnover ratio of 2.00 or better – and just one of 14 players nationally.The Duncanville, Texas, product has turned in 19 games with double-digit points, including a team-best seven 20-point scoring efforts. She has surpassed the 20-point mark four times over the last five games after matching her season high of 22 at Washington on Sunday, and has six straight games in double figures where she is averaging 19.7 points while shooting 43.5 percent.Kelly has elevated her game even more in the clutch moments. In games that are within five points with less than five minutes to play (12 games), Kelly is averaging 15.3 points, 4.4 rebounds and 3.8 assists. Six of her seven games with 20 or more points have come in those contests, helping the Ducks win eight of those 12 games.
She currently ranks 11th among active players with 2,200 career points and is one of two active players to amass at least 2,200 points, 550 rebounds, 450 assists and 150 steals.In four seasons at North Carolina, Kelly guided the Tar Heels to four straight NCAA Tournament appearances and was a three-time all-ACC first-team selection. Additionally, she was twice named WBCA all-America honorable mention and voted to the ACC’s all-freshman team.Kelly helped Oregon (19-10, 10-8) to an eight seed in this week’s 2025 Big Ten Tournament, where they will take on ninth-seeded Indiana in the second round on Thursday (9 a.m. PT, Big Ten Network).
