COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Oregon sophomore Brooke Nuneviller was named to the USA Volleyball U.S. Women’s Collegiate National Team – Gold roster Wednesday as announced by USA Volleyball.

Selected to the 28-player roster as a libero, Nuneviller is coming off of a strong sophomore season in which she finished third on the team in kills/set and second on the team in total kills. She made the move outside after spending her freshman season as Oregon’s libero, when she earned AVCA honorable mention All-America recognition and Pac-12 All-Freshman honors.

The 2018 AVCA Pacific North Region freshman of the year racked up 580 digs as a freshman, the third-most in Oregon single-season history, and recorded double-digit digs in each of the final 26 matches of her freshman year. Nuneviller’s 4.92 digs per set in 2018 ranks fourth in school single-season history while her career-high 35 digs vs. Washington State on Sept. 23, 2018 were the most by a Duck since 2015 and ranks tied for seventh in UO single-match history.

Nuneviller played for the U.S. Women’s Junior National Team in the summer of 2019, helping them advance out of pool play in the 2019 FIVB U20 World Championships. She also played for USA Volleyball prior to arriving at Oregon, serving as the libero for the USA Youth National Team three summers in a row from 2016-18.

The Collegiate National Team – Gold will train in Anaheim from July 5-12 alongside the U.S. Women’s National Team.
