Prince redshirted her freshman season with the Longhorns after suffering an injury while playing for the USA national team at the U18 FIBA Americas Championship in Mexico City in the summer of 2018.

Prior to the injury, Prince capped a stellar high school career by being named the Texas Girls Coaches Association Basketball Athlete of the Year (1A-4A).
