Oregon’s Lombardi Signs Four Top 30 Softball Prospects

EUGENE – Oregon head coach Melyssa Lombardi signed four top-30 prospects as a part of the 2021 Signing Class Wednesday. The Ducks signed two pitchers in the top 15 overall nationally according to Extra Inning Softball and a pair of infielders who are in the top 25 in the country at their position.

“The 2021 class is strong in every facet of the game – offensively, defensively, and in the circle,” said Lombardi. “Their individual strengths, versatility and desire to win will bring an immediate impact to our experienced roster.”

Allison Benning, RHP, Lake Elmo, Minn. (Stillwater HS)
