SAN DIEGO – Oregon got its postseason off to a dominant start, blanking Utah with a 4-0 win in the opening round of the Pac-12 Championships on Friday at the Barnes Tennis Center.

The Ducks will take on California in the quarterfinals of the Pac-12 Championships on Saturday at 12 p.m.

The Ducks picked up wins at the No. 5 and 6 spots to clinch the victory, with Myah Petchey delivering a 6-1, 6-1 win at the No. 6 spot followed by Julia Eshet providing the clincher with a 6-1, 6-4 win at No. 5 singles. Martinez Moral led 6-3, 3-2 in her match at the No. 3 spot when it was halted while Kahfiani and Ares Teixido Garcia were locked in close battles at the No. 2 and 4 spots respectively when the match ended.
