CORVALLIS, Ore. – Ahead of the 2024 season, Logan Hulon will join the Oregon State softball team, as announced by head coach Laura Berg.
“I’m very excited about Logan,” noted Berg. “She brings College World Series experience and I know she will come in and help us in the circle.”
A graduate transfer from Texas, Hulon will have two years of eligibility in Corvallis.
The righty from Dripping Springs, Texas, helped lead the Longhorns on the precipice of a national championship when they made the 2022 Women’s College World Series and fell in the final series. In her first game with Texas, she fanned five and shutout Boston College in a complete game. Along the way to the WCWS, Hulon retired 15 by the strikeout across more than 21.0 innings.
Prior to her time in Austin, she competed for Houston from 2020-21. In the COVID-shortened 2020 campaign, she led the Cougars with 11 appearances in the circle and 54.0 innings thrown. Making American Athletic Conference history, she tossed a no-hitter in her collegiate debut with eight strikeouts. She followed it up with 25 appearances with 11 starts in 2021. Hulon threw a pair of complete games, registered her first save and 49 punchouts. She recorded at least one strikeout in 21 of her 25 games played.
