CORVALLIS, Ore. – Seven members of the Oregon State softball team received All-WCC honors, as announced by the league on Wednesday afternoon.
Logan Hulon and Jada Lewis were tabbed as first team selections while Ellie Garcia and Morgan Howey were chosen for the second team, honorable mentions were Jaeya Butler and Tristian Thompson and Paige Bambarger was named to the All-Freshman team.
Hulon – a two-time WCC Pitcher of the Week and member of the WCC’s Academic Team – paced the pitching in conference, leading the WCC in strikeouts and looking strikeouts during her final collegiate season. She had double-digit strikeouts in three outings, including 12 in a win over Montana and combined for 15 across 12.0 innings in the series against Pacific. Her eight punchouts helped lead the Beavers to a road upset over eighth-ranked Oregon in March.
Lewis played a big role in leading the Oregon State offense in 2025. The Vallejo, Calif., native paced the Beavers in three categories: batting average (.383), runs scored (29) and stolen bases (16) and was among the leaders in doubles, with 10. She capped her debut season in Corvallis with a five-game hitting streak.
A day after being named to the league’s All-Academic Team, Garcia is being showcased for her talent in the circle. She capped her career in the league’s top five in strikeouts (94) as well as looking strikeouts (17) and kept opposing batters to just a .263 batting average. Earlier this month, she struck out a career-best 10 to clinch the series at Pacific.
Coming off leading the Beavers in multiple offensive categories (hits, at bats and sacrifice bunts), Howey made her first all-conference team. The Arcadia, Calif., product was a consistent bat, having five hitting streaks of at least five games and capped 2025 with hits in nine of the last 10. She ended the season with big performances – two home runs in a win over Pacific and two doubles in a win over LMU – to get the Beavers on a four-game winning streak. Yesterday, she was also named to the WCC’s All-Academic Team.
The Beavers’ leader in total bases, at bats and doubles, Butler’s impact was felt in the offense in 2025. She provided some key moments in the clutch with four home runs in WCC play, three RBI in an extra-inning win at Arizona State and even leading OSU in hits in the road upset of #8 Oregon. She was also a threat on the base paths with eight stolen bases.
A consistent bat – and threat – in the lineup, Thompson paced Oregon State’s offense with team-bests in home runs, runs batted in and slugging percentage. Making her impact early, she strung four hits and 10 RBI together across two games in the second day of the season. In the road upset of Oregon, she broke open the game’s scoring with a no-doubt home run that set the tone in the game.
Bambarger made her first collegiate a strong one – having made starts in all of the 47 Oregon State games in 2025. She wasted little time in contributing to the lineup, with hits in seven of the first eight games of the season and in that stretch, she had a pair of multi-hit contests. She led the Beavers in triples and was among the leaders in walks drawn, stolen bases and sacrifice bunts.
The seven selections are the most in a year since eight following the 2018 campaign.
