» 4 GP, .333 AVG, .400 OBP, .667 SLG, 9 RBI, 1 HR, 5 R, 6 H, 2 BB, 12 TB

  • Paced the Sun Devils to a 4-0 week and series sweep over Cal, batting .333 (6-of-18) with a team-best 9 RBIs and 5 runs scored
  • Hit the go-ahead 2-RBI single in the 9th inning against UNLV that capped the team’s comeback from a 7-1 deficit in a 10-9 win
  • Had a bases loaded, base-clearing double on both Friday and Saturday, which provided massive insurance in games decided by 1 and 2 runs, respectively
  • Threw out 2 of the 3 runners who tried to steal a base from him on the week as well
  • 2nd time in his career winning the award and the last Sun Devil to be honored in April 2022.

  • Set a WSU record with 17 strikeouts in 1-hit shutout at Washington Friday night, earned win
  • Tied for the 2nd most strikeouts by a D1 pitcher in a game this season (Winthrop’s Riley Huge had 20 against Maine)
  • Most by a Pac-12 pitcher since Oregon State’s Connor Hjerpe had 17 against Stanford in April 2022
  • Did not walk or hit a batter, allowed just a 1st-inning infield single, retired the next 25 hitters
  • Struck out 10 straight hitters at one point, 15 of the 17 strikeouts were swinging
  • 1st shutout by Pac-12 pitcher since April 2023 (Oregon’s Jace Stoffal vs. Stanford)
  • 1st shutout by a WSU pitcher since May 22 (Grant Taylor vs. Arizona State),
  • 1st WSU 1-hitter since since 4 pitchers combined to 1-hit Oregon State last season
  • 1st Cougars shutout against UW since 1995, 1st in Seattle since 1989
  • 2nd time winning this award after claiming it in the final week of the 2022 season.  Last WSU pitcher to be honored wsa Connor Wilford in March of 2023
