• Tossed his 1st career complete game as Oregon State defeated Arizona State, 9-1, on Saturday
• Faced the minimum over the first 8 innings and his lone blemish was a pinch-hit home run by the Sun Devils in the 9th inning
• Scattered 4 hits and did not walk a batter. ASU had opened the series with 8 runs on 11 hits in the opener Friday and had a team batting average in the .280 range leading up to the game
• Recorded all 6 strikeouts from the 5th inning on
• Improved to 4-1 on the year, sporting a 2.89 ERA. He has 38 strikeouts to 11 walks in 43 2/3 innings.
• 2nd time this season and 2nd time in his career winning this award after previously claiming it on February 26th of this season
• 2nd Pac-12 pitcher to win twice this season, joining Stanford’s Christian Lim
