Pac-12 Football Returns This Weekend

‘The Tailgate’  is live from Eugene, Oregon this Saturday 

SAN FRANCISCO –  Pac-12 football is back and Pac-12 Networks is set to air seven top-tier matchups featuring all five ranked Pac-12 teams starting this Thursday, September 2, and airing all Labor Day Weekend, on Pac-12 Network.

Here on Fox Sports Eugene, long time Register Guard Ducks Reporter Steve Mims, returns this fall for the Jerry’s Home Improvement Game Day Show! Each week listen for our featured GAME OF THE WEEK! This week, we are in studio as fans flood the streets of Eugene as they make their way to Autzen for the 11:01 kickoff against Fresno State.

Fox Sports Eugene’s Jerry’s Game Day Show will begin two hours before the featured GAME OF THE WEEK each week, so this Saturday tune in to hear the coverage begin at 9:00 a.m. on KORE 1050 AM and 95.7 FM and on our online stream via our website or via the TuneIn app.

Pac-12 Network’s Pregame kicks off the season’s coverage this Thursday, September 2 at 4 p.m. Pac-12 Networks’ Ashley Adamson and Michael Bumpus will be joined by former Washington State favorite Ryan Leaf, live from the San Francisco studio to preview the week’s action and break down all of the key matchups.

No. 24 Utah begins its 2021 campaign this Thursday, September 2 against Weber State at 4:30 p.m. on Pac-12 Network, with Roxy Bernstein and Lincoln Kennedy on the call. It is the third-straight year the Utes have opened the season ranked in the Top 25 of the Associated Press preseason poll.

No. 25 Arizona State makes its season debut on Thursday, taking on Southern Utah at 7:30 p.m. on Pac-12 Network. Ted Robinson and Yogi Roth are in the booth in Tempe, Arizona to highlight a Sun Devil squad which boasts 11 preseason All-Conference honorees, including quarterback Jayden Daniels, who was named to the Manning Award Watch List.

Adamson, Bumpus and Leaf return for the Pac-12 Football Postgame Report, starting at approximately 11 p.m. to recap and relive the big moments from Thursday’s game.

Pac-12 Networks is live from Eugene, Oregon on Saturday, September 4 for The Tailgate starting at 10 a.m. on Pac-12 Network. Pac-12 Networks’ new host Danny Lee makes his debut, taking fans to the Oregon campus and diving into the stories and traditions that make Oregon’s tailgate so unique. Adamson, Nick Allioti and Nigel Burton preview Saturday’s action during The Pregame, which begins at 10:30 a.m. on Pac-12 Network.

No. 11 Oregon, which was chosen by the media to win the 2021 Pac-12 Championship, opens its season on Saturday against Fresno State at 11 a.m. on Pac-12 Network, with Roxy Bernstein and Lincoln Kennedy on the call. The reigning Pac-12 Champion No. 11 Ducks are in the preseason Top 25 for the fourth-straight year, and in the Top 11 in each of the past three seasons.

Robinson and Roth return to the booth to break down No. 15 USC, which hits the gridiron at 2 p.m. on Saturday against San Jose State, airing on Pac-12 Network. The 15th-ranked Trojans are once again South Division preseason favorites, led by junior quarterback Kedon Slovis.

Reigning Pac-12 North Champion No. 20 Washington takes on Montana at 5 p.m. on Pac-12 Network, with JB Long and Max Browne calling the X’s and O’s. No. 20 Washington represents in the preseason Top 25 for the fifth time in the last six years and have currently allowed 35 points or less in 75-straight games, the longest active streak in the country.

At 8 p.m., Washington State hosts Utah State on Pac-12 Network, with Jordan Kent and Bob Davie in the booth. Running back Max Borghi was named to the Biletnikoff Award Watch List, as well as the Doak Walker Award Watch List, earlier this summer and eyes a big senior season for the Cougars.

Wrapping up Saturday and a football-filled weekend, ‘Pac-12 After Dark’ returns this season, starting at approximately 11:30 p.m. on Pac-12 Network, following the conclusion of the Washington State contest. Haberman, Bumpus and Vereen are live from the studio to break down Saturday’s action and recap the big plays, moments and wins from around the Conference of Champions.
