Pac-12 Women’s Basketball Performance Awards, presented by Nextiva – Nov. 13, 2023

The Pac-12 today announced its women’s basketball performance awards, presented by Nextiva, for games played from November 6 – November 12 and voted on by media who cover the league.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Aaronette Vonleh, Jr., C, Colorado (West Linn, Ore.) >> 3 G, 18.3 PPG, 7.0 RPG, 3.0 APG, .742 FG%

  • Scored 24 points in the thrilling upset of top-ranked LSU (92-78) to open up the year.
  • Shot 73.3 percent (11-15) from the floor and added six rebounds and four assists against the reigning national champion Tigers.
  • Recorded a 13-point, 11-rebound double-double in the 97-38 victory over Le Moyne.
  • Wrapped up the weekend with 18 points on 85.7 percent (6-7) shooting from the field in the win against Oklahoma State (86-75).
  • First career Player of the Week award and Colorado’s eighth all-time.

FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK: JuJu Watkins, Fr., G, USC (Los Angeles) >> 2 G, 25.0 PPG, 6.5 RPG, 3.5 APG, 1.5 BPG, .400 3FG%

  • Led No. 21 USC to a season-opening win over No. 7 Ohio State (83-74), leading all scorers with 32 points while adding six boards and five assists in her collegiate debut.
  • 32 points versus Ohio State were the most by a Pac-12 freshman since USC’s Alissa Pili had 32 on Feb. 23, 2020, and a new USC record for points scored in a freshman debut.
  • Shot 61.1 (11-18) percent from the field and 90 percent (9-10) from the line against the Buckeyes. 
  • Had seven rebounds and a pair of blocks to go with a team-high 18 points in the 67-51 win over Florida Gulf Coast.
  • USC’s 12th Pac-12 Freshman of the Week honor all-time.
