Pac-12 Women’s Basketball Performance Awards, presented by Nextiva – Nov. 20, 2023

The Pac-12 today announced its women’s basketball performance awards, presented by Nextiva, for games played from November 13 – November 19 and voted on by media who cover the league. See below for this week’s recognitions and keep track of the 2023-24 Player of the Year watchlist here:

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Cameron Brink, Sr., F, Stanford (Beaverton, Ore.) >> 2 G. 18.5 PPG, 8.0 RPG, 4.5 BPG, .611 FG%, 1.000 FT%

  • Scored a career-high 29 points in the 82-79 overtime win over Duke.
  • Added 11 rebounds and six blocks against the Blue Devils to become the first Stanford player with 25+ points, 10+ rebounds and 5+ blocks since Chiney Ogwumike on March 8, 2014.
  • Went 10-for-10 from the line and has made 72 straight free throws.
  • Had eight points, five rebounds and three blocks in 15 minutes against Cal Poly (W, 86-32).
  • Eighth career Pac-12 Player of the Week award for Brink, and Stanford’s league-leading 122nd.

FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK: JuJu Watkins, Fr., G, USC (Los Angeles) >> 1 G, 35.0 PPG, 9.0 RPG, 6.0 SPG, .650 FG%, .750 3FG%

  • Posted 35 points in the win against Le Moyne (93-42), which was the second highest single-game scoring effort by a USC freshman (Cheryl Miller scored 39 vs. Northwestern on Nov. 20, 1982).
  • Her 35 points are tied-for-the seventh-most in NCAA Division I this season.
  • Made six 3-pointers and registered a season-high nine rebounds and six steals.
  • Shot a season-best 65.0 (13-20) percent from the field, and 75.0 (6-8) percent from behind the arc.
  • Second Pac-12 Freshman of the Week nod for Watkins, and USC’s 13th honor all-time.
