Pac-12 Women’s Basketball Performance Awards, presented by Nextiva – Nov. 27, 2023

The Pac-12 today announced its women’s basketball performance awards, presented by Nextiva, for games played from November 20 – November 26 and voted on by media who cover the league. See below for this week’s recognitions and keep track of the 2023-24 Player of the Year watchlist here:

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Cameron Brink, Sr., F, Stanford (Beaverton, Ore.) >> 3 G, 22.3 PPG, 14.7 RPG, 4.0 BPG, 62.9 FG%, 92.0 FT%

  • Recorded a 27-point, 16-round double-double in just 25 minutes in the victory over Belmont (74-55), which is one of just 10 25-point, 15-rebound games in the NCAA this season.
  • Posted six blocks and 19 points in the 100-88 win over No. 13 Florida State.
  • Shot 75.0 (6-8) percent from the floor with 21 points, a season-best 19 rebounds and four blocks against Albany (W, 79-35).
  • Passed Lisa Leslie to move into third place in Pac-12 history with 324 career blocks.
  • Ninth career Pac-12 Player of the Week award for Brink, and Stanford’s league-leading 123rd.

FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK: JuJu Watkins, Fr., G, USC (Los Angeles) >> 2 G, 23.0 PPG, 9.5 RPG, 3.0 APG, 1.5 BGP, 40.5 FG%, 

  • Scored a teah-high 15 points in the 64-54 win over Seton Hall while adding seven rebounds and two blocks.
  • Guided the Trojans to a 71-70 comeback win over Penn State with a game-high 31 points, including the game-winning basket.
  • Added 12 boards against the Lady Lions for her first career double-double while shooting 45.0 (9-20) percent from the field.
  • With 131 points on the year, Watkins has scored more points in her first five games as a Trojan than Cheryl Miller (104) and Leslie (109) did in their first five games.
  • Third Pac-12 Freshman of the Week nod for Watkins, and USC’s 14th honor all-time.
