EUGENE – The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association named Oregon pitcher Brett Walker to the NCBWA’s preseason All-America third team on Wednesday.

Walker earned a spot on the team after finishing last season 3-0 with a 0.84 ERA while allowing just two runs on 13 hits with 10 strikeouts and one walk in 21.1 innings pitched. He held opponents to a .176 batting average.
