CORVALLIS – Oregon State standout Mikayla Pivec has been named to the Wooden Award Late Season Top-20, the Los Angeles Athletic Club announced Monday.

The 20-player list was announced on ESPNU, as chosen by a poll of national women’s college basketball media members. The players on the list are considered strong candidates for the 2020 John R. Wooden Award Women’s Player of the Year Award.

Monday’s honor is the latest in a long line of national recognition for Pivec. The senior has been named to the Naismith Defensive Midseason Team, the Naismith Trophy Watch List, the Wade Trophy Watch List and the Cheryl Miller Award Watch List. Pivec was named the Preseason WNIT MVP and to the All-Tournament Teams for both the Maui Classic and the Miami Thanksgiving Classic.
