RIP CITY REMIX TO HOST INAUGURAL FAN APPRECIATION NIGHT ON MARCH 30 PRESENTED BY FOX 12

PORTLAND, Ore. – In honor of the inaugural season, the Rip City Remix and FOX 12 are partnering together to celebrate Fan Appreciation Night, while the Remix take on the Santa Cruz Warriors on Saturday, March 30, at 3 p.m. In the final game of the regular season, the Remix invite fans to show their support as the team makes their last push for the NBA G League Playoffs.

The FOX 12 crew will be joining the celebration live on the court at Chiles Center. Nick Krupke, Rielle Creighton and Nora Hart will entertain fans as they emcee the evening, provide live updates from the sideline, and participate in timeout activities.

In the Kids Zone on the Upper Concourse, youth will have the opportunity to see if they have what it takes to be a weather forecaster. FOX 12 will be hosting a Junior Weather Forecasting station with a green screen and a TV where meteorologist Jeff Forgeron will briefly teach about meteorology and hand out First Alert Weather stickers to fans.

FOX 12 will also have selected youth students participate as Junior Broadcasters to gain insight into how sports broadcasts operate. Students will be invited to sit with the live play-by-play and analyst talent on the floor, help direct entertainment during breaks, and assist in the broadcast control room.

Fans will be able to take home Rip City Remix team posters presented by FOX 12 to commemorate the inaugural season of the basketball team. Guests can also enjoy free samples from Nico’s Ice Cream on the concourse, as well as temporary tattoos provided by Tattoo 34 at the end of the game.

Tip off against the Santa Cruz Warriors will be at 3:00 p.m. PT. The doors will open one hour prior to tip-off and parking is free in the main lot next to Chiles Center.
