Scott Named Pac-12 Pitcher of the Week

SAN FRANCISCO – For her performance against Arizona State that included a complete game win, a save and a 0.00 earned run average, Morgan Scott was named Pac-12 pitcher of the week, the league announced Monday.

The Irmo, S.C., native saw action in all three games of Oregon’s sweep of the Sun Devils. Over the weekend, she threw 9.1 innings, striking out seven and walking none.

She was the game one winner with five strikeouts in the Duck’s 3-2 victory.

Scott came into game two with the Ducks holding a 5-4 lead in the sixth inning and got the final four outs for her first save of the season.

She pitched a perfect seventh inning in Oregon’s 5-0 win on Sunday.

This was the second career Pac-12 Pitcher of the Week award for Scott (April 24, 2023).
