EUGENE, Ore. – New head coach Tracy Joyner continues to bring in talented student-athletes who will join this fall’s soccer team. The latest additions are transfers from Alabama and California and a freshman from Woodland, Calif.
Miya Alamares trained with the 2024 U.S. U-17 National Team and will be a freshman in the fall. Cailin Bloom is a veteran defender who is transferring from Cal. Carys Hall was a member of Alabama’s 2022 team that went 23-3-1 and advanced to the College Cup during the NCAA Tournament.
Joyner has now signed 11 new players this spring. The trio will join transfers Kate Cheldelin (Washington), Abella Hunter (UC Davis), Gia Kiesling (UC Davis), Elise Picard (UC Davis) and Bryana Pizarro (Washington State) and incoming freshmen Addisen Boyer (Oak Harbor, Wash.), Izzy Sawyers (San Clemente, Calif.) and Selah Simms (Brentwood, Calif.) in Joyner’s first recruiting class.
