SOFTBALL PRESS RELEASE | Ducks Announce 2025 Softball Schedule

EUGENE, Ore. – Oregon will host two tournaments at Jane Sanders Stadium in 2025 and will also travel to Las Vegas, Phoenix and Palm Springs before opening Big Ten play at Washington.

The 54-game schedule also features games against Oregon State, Arizona State, California, Missouri, Notre Dame, Tennessee, Utah and Florida State.

The Seminoles were originally scheduled to play in the 2024 Jane Sanders Classic but weather conditions postponed their trip out west. Instead, FSU will play in this year’s tournament March 8-10 along with Oregon State and Abilene Christian.

Oregon and Oregon State will play the first of three games this season March 8 on the second day of the Jane Sanders Classic. The two teams will play in Corvallis April 2 and April 14.

Season tickets for the 23-game 2025 home schedule are on sale now. Reserved seats are $200.

The Ducks will open the 2025 season at UNLV’s tournament. Oregon will play a doubleheader on opening day, Feb. 7, versus Buffalo and Southern Utah. The tournament continues Feb. 8 with another contest with Southern Utah before a game against UNLV. The Ducks will play Buffalo again on Feb. 9 to conclude the weekend.

Oregon will play in the Littlewood Classic hosted by Arizona State and Grand Canyon the second week of the season. The Ducks will play Arizona State, North Dakota State and Weber State in Tempe before facing Utah Valley, Grand Canyon and Belmont at GCU.

Oregon’s draw in the Feb. 20-22 Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic is one of the most challenging in the field. On day one, the Ducks will play Cal and Tennessee. Day two finds the Ducks clashing with Utah and San Diego State. Oregon wraps up the tournament with a contest against Missouri on the final day. All five opponents in the Mary Nutter Classic made the NCAA Tournament a year ago.

The 2025 home opener will be Feb. 28 versus San Diego in the Oregon Classic. The Ducks will also play Portland State that day. Oregon hosts San Diego and Loyola Chicago on March 1 and faces Loyola Chicago again on March 2 to conclude the tournament.

The Ducks will host Florida State March 7 to open the second annual Jane Sanders Classic and will face the Seminoles again March 9. Oregon plays Abilene Christian twice in the Classic on March 8-9.

The 2025 Big Ten schedule, which was announced in September, begins March 14-16 with a series against Washington. Following that series, the Ducks will play at Seattle on March 17.

The Big Ten schedule also includes home series with Illinois (March 21-23), Michigan (April 4-6), UCLA (April 18-20) and Michigan State (May 2-3). Along with the Huskies, the Ducks’ road conference series are Rutgers (March 28-29), Minnesota (April 11-13) and Indiana (April 25-27).

In addition to the games with Oregon State, other nonconference games the last month of the season include Loyola Marymount April 7 in Eugene and Notre Dame in South Bend on April 28. It will be the third straight season that the Ducks and the Fighting Irish have played.

More than half of Oregon’s Big Ten Conference games will come against teams that played in the 2024 NCAA Tournament – Washington, Michigan, UCLA and Indiana.

First-time opponents for the Ducks on the 2025 schedule include Buffalo, Belmont and Loyola Chicago.

Television and streaming broadcast information will be announced at a later date.
