CORVALLIS – Oregon State’s Sergi Solans has been named WCC Offensive Player of the Week, the conference office announced Monday.
Solans scored a hat-trick against Pacific on Friday, the 19th in program history. The forward now has eight goals in eight games played this season, good for first in the conference and 11th in the nation. He also leads the WCC in points with 16.
Solans needs two more goals to crack the top-10 on the Beavers’ single-season scoring list.
As a team, Oregon State checked in at No. 25 in this week’s Top Drawer Soccer Poll. The Beavers will hit the road Wednesday for a matchup with Saint Mary’s.
