Stanley Lin Named Pac-12 Co-Men’s Golfer Of The Week

SAN FRANCISCO – Oregon State freshman Stanley Lin has been named the Co-Men’s Golfer of the Week by the Pac-12, the conference announced on Tuesday.

Lin, in just his second career tournament, equaled the program’s record for best three-round effort by shooting a 15-under 201 at the Husky Individual Invitational last week in Bremerton, Wash. He matched Connor Kumpula’s 15-under effort at the Alister MacKenzie Invitational in the Fall of 2016.

Lin, who hails from Taipei, Taiwan, shot a 5-under 67 in each of the three rounds of the par-72 event. He made 17 birdies over the 54 holes to lead the 49-player event.

He is the first Beaver to named the Men’s Golfer of the Week since Mateo Fuenmayor after winning the 2023 Duck Invitational last year.

The Beavers return to action Monday, Oct. 9 when hosting the two-day Oregon State Invitational at the Trysting Tree Golf Course in Corvallis.
