EUGENE, Ore. – The Prefontaine Classic and Citius Mag have announced the addition of the Citius Mag Superfan Section for this year’s event, which serves as the Wanda Diamond League Final.
The Citius Mag Superfan Section will occupy section 119, just past the finish line, and is open to the rowdiest and most passionate fans of track & field. Tickets for this section will be provided at no cost to superfans who prove their fandom and are selected by Citius Mag and The Prefontaine Classic.
Beginning today, August 1, fans can sign up to request an all-session ticket for both days of the Pre Classic in the Citius Mag Superfan Section at PreClassic.com/Superfan. After submitting a request, fans are encouraged to show The Prefontaine Classic and Citius Mag why they deserve a seat with track & field’s biggest fans by posting, tagging, and interacting with content on social media in the lead-up to the event.
Fans selected for the Citius Mag Superfan Section will be notified via email on or before August 16. Selected fans are required to pick up their tickets to the Citius Mag Superfan Section in-person at events open to the public throughout the weekend of The Prefontaine Classic. Those events will be announced at a later date via the Pre Classic website, social media, and email.
Unclaimed tickets will be distributed the morning of Saturday, September 16. If fans missed the window to request a ticket, they will have the chance to win a ticket that morning. Details for that opportunity will be announced via the Pre Classic website, social media, and email.
