PORTLAND – The Portland Timbers and San Jose Earthquakes played to a 1-1 draw at Providence Park on Wednesday night. The Earthquakes struck first midway through the first half, but the Timbers evened the score with a goal from Felipe Mora in the first-half stoppage time. Mora tallied his team-leading fifth goal of the regular season.

Mora tallied his team-leading fifth goal of the 2021 campaign, and seventh across all competitions. Notably, he has scored five goals in his last seven appearances for Portland. Overall, Mora has 12 goals and four assists in 31 MLS appearances for the Timbers.
