PORTLAND, Ore. – The Portland Timbers have recalled goalkeeper Hunter Sulte from loan with USL side Indy Eleven for one match, the club announced today. Sulte will be available for the Timbers match against the Philadelphia Union at Providence Park on Saturday, March 23. The 21-year-old has made three first-team appearances for the Timbers, logging two starts in 202 minutes played. Sulte made his MLS debut on May 1, 2021, against FC Dallas after signing as a Homegrown Player with the club on Nov. 11, 2020. At the MLS NEXT Pro level, Sulte has played in 28 matches (all starts) for Timbers2 across the 2022 and 2023 seasons.The Timbers will host the Union at Providence Park on Saturday, March 23. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. (Pacific) and will stream on MLS Season Pass on the Apple TV app in English and Spanish as well as local radio broadcasts, 750 The Game (English) and La GranD 1150AM/93.5 FM (Spanish).
