Timbers Square Off Against Austin FC in Midweek Match at Q2 Stadium Tonight

 The Portland Timbers are set to face Austin FC for a midweek match tonight at Q2 Stadium. The match is set to kick off at 5:30 p.m. (Pacific) with a national broadcast on FS1 and a live stream on MLS Season Pass on the Apple TV app in English and Spanish with local radio broadcasts on 750 The Game (English) and La GranD 1150AM/93.5 FM (Spanish).

Playing their second midweek match this month, the Timbers will square off against Austin FC for the first time this season and the eighth time in the series’ history. Portland has a winning mark of 4-2-1 against Austin FC and are unbeaten against the Texas team in the last five straight matchups (4-0-1). The Timbers have outscored Austin 10-4 in that undefeated stretch. This season, the Timbers have scored in all but two of their eight road matches, led by Felipe Mora who has scored three of his seven goals away from Providence Park. Evander, Jonathan Rodríguez and Santiago Moreno have each netted twice in away games. In Portland’s last match against Sporting Kansas City (May 25), Evander, Mora and Rodríguez each registered goal contributions to help the Timbersearn a 2-1 victory.
