TRAIL BLAZERS AND FRED MEYER JOIN FORCES FOR THE 14th ANNUAL FRED MEYER COAT DRIVE 

PORTLAND, Ore. (November 9, 2023)The Portland Trail Blazers and Fred Meyer are teaming up for the 14th annual Fred Meyer Coat Drive, which begins tomorrow, Friday, November 10 and will run through Friday, December 8. Fans can donate new coats for kids and adults in Portland and the SW Washington area throughout the month to help those in need stay warm this winter.  

The drive benefits local nonprofits including Boys & Girls Clubs of Portland Metro. On December 15, staff members from Fred Meyer and the Trail Blazers will host a coat distribution event for youth and families from Boys & Girls Clubs to celebrate the successful drive and the holiday season.  

Over the 13-year history of the program, thousands of coats have been donated to the Rip City community to help youth and adults in need.
