PORTLAND, Ore. (Feb. 23, 2024) – The Portland Trail Blazers have signed guard Ashton Hagans to a two-way contract, it was announced today by General Manager Joe Cronin. Hagans previously signed a 10-day contract with Portland on Feb. 8.
Hagans has recorded 2.8 points (41.7% FG, 50.0% FT), 1.3 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 14.9 minutes per game in four games (one start) with the Trail Blazers this season. In 29 games (25 starts) with the Rip City Remix during the 2023-24 NBA G League regular season and Showcase Cup, he posted 13.3 points (45.2% FG, 33.3% 3-PT, 78.3% FT), 4.1 rebounds, 7.8 assists and 2.0 steals in 28.8 minutes per game. Hagans competed in this year’s NBA G League Up Next Game at All-Star Weekend in Indianapolis after receiving the most fan votes. He previously appeared in two games with the Minnesota Timberwolves on a two-way contract in 2021 and holds NBA career averages of 1.8 points (41.7% FG, 50.0% FT), 0.8 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 10.6 minutes per game in six games (one start).
