Ulmer Signs Jade Sadeiko to Finalize 2019 Roster

EUGENE, Ore. – Oregon volleyball head coach Matt Ulmer added the final piece to the Ducks’ 2019 roster on Tuesday with the signing of outside hitter Jade Sadeiko.

A native of Estonia, Sadeiko will join the Ducks as a true freshman this fall and will compete indoors as well as on the beach squad in the spring. Sadeiko is the program’s first international signing since 2012.

“We couldn’t be more excited to welcome Jade to our Duck family,” said Ulmer. “She brings a different perspective, appreciation and maturity to our team that can only strengthen us. Jade is a physical athlete that has high level experience on both pins. She is also highly regarded in the beach volleyball community and will make an impact on that team in the spring.”

An accomplished player both on the hardwood and the sand, Sadeiko recently won the Estonian Cup with the top women’s team in the country. The 6’3” hitter is also a five-time Estonian champion with her U-20 team, and she competed for the U-19 national team as well.
